Lucas entered foster care at the age of 3 after experiencing instability during his first three years with family. Shortly thereafter, he was diagnosed with autism and is considered non-verbal. Despite this, he is incredibly intelligent, playful, and has a great love for food! His favorite activities include jumping, spinning, and watching his siblings play. Lucas was adopted into a large family that includes many children with special needs.

Lucas and his brothers Alex and Logan are excited to dress up as Marvel characters together this Halloween. Lucas's favorite is Captain America, and he can't wait to wear his costume while trick-or-treating with his brothers. This gift would let Lucas take part in a fun family tradition that means so much to him.
