Jameson was born prematurely at just 27 weeks and has spent considerable time in the NICU. He has faced significant challenges and has already undergone two surgeries. He is scheduled for another surgery to correct a perforated bowel and to have both a G-tube and a colostomy bag placed, which should help him gain weight appropriately. When his health began to decline, his birth parents left him at the hospital and have not visited since. He and his twin brother are being discharged to their foster home.

Jameson has poor circulation because of his extreme prematurity and the multiple surgeries he's already had. A good pair of boots would keep his feet warm through the harsh Pennsylvania winter ahead. This would let him get outside and experience the season with his foster family instead of having to stay in because of the cold.
