Jerimiah has been in foster care for several years after being removed from his grandmother's custody. This decision was made following a domestic violence incident that resulted in his grandmother being hospitalized. Before living with his grandmother, Jerimiah was taken from his parents due to instances of sexual abuse and violence in that home. Currently, he is in a placement where he is focusing on his mental health and behavioral challenges.

Jerimiah is in residential treatment and would love a binder to organize and protect his Pokémon card collection, giving him a proper way to keep his cards safe, sorted, and easy to show off. Collecting and organizing cards is a familiar, enjoyable hobby he can do independently or share with peers, encouraging organization, decision-making, and social interaction along the way. Having a dedicated binder for his collection would give Jerimiah a genuine sense of pride and ownership, along with a practical way to care for something that means a lot to him.
