Charles is currently navigating the foster care system with resilience and heart. He is a kind and thoughtful boy who takes great pride in looking out for his younger brother. Charles loves spending time outside, whether he is playing in the dirt or enjoying recess at school. With his vibrant imagination and affectionate nature, Charles brings energy and warmth to those around him.

Charles is in the early stages of learning to read and feels so proud of himself every time he sounds out a new word. He recently checked out a Captain Underpants book from his school library and loved it so much he didn't want to stop reading. Getting the full series would let him keep that momentum going and read to his heart's content. It's a wish that would nurture both his confidence and his love of reading.
