An electric scooter for Isaac to provide reliable transportation to work and greater independence

Care Plus NJIsaac experienced foster care beginning at a young age and lived in several different homes during his childhood. Despite the challenges he experienced growing up, he maintains a warm, friendly, and positive attitude. Isaac is preparing to transition to a more independent housing program where he will have his own apartment. He is working hard at his current job to secure his housing and is planning to take on a second job to increase his income. In the future, he hopes to pursue his passion for acting and build a career doing something he loves.
Isaac currently relies on the bus to commute to work and has been asked to work later shifts that may extend beyond the last available bus. As ridesharing can be costly, having his own transportation in the form of an electric scooter would give Isaac greater flexibility with his work schedule and expand his options to take on a second job. This would be especially meaningful as Isaac prepares to transition into more independent housing and continues working hard to build a stable future for himself.
