He currently lives with his grandparents while his parents are incarcerated and has experienced significant challenges throughout his life, including exposure to substance use and drug-related activity. Despite these circumstances, Cruz finds comfort and stability in school, which he views as a safe and positive environment. He enjoys spending time with his friends and is passionate about playing soccer and football. Cruz’s love for his sister, connection to his family, and enjoyment of school and sports are important sources of strength and support in his life.

Cruz was recently removed from his parents’ care due to drug-related activity in the home. Thankfully, he is able to remain at the same school, providing him with some much-needed stability. Cruz misses his parents and has been trying to keep busy as he adjusts to these difficult changes. A LEGO set would give him a fun, creative, and productive way to spend his free time while providing a positive distraction during this challenging period.
