The Homes for Children CorporationMadison is a sweet girl who recently came into care due to parental neglect. Madison just started school this year. She is having a hard time following rules and staying focused in her class. Madison is taking special classes during the day to help her cope with being away from her family. She likes to play with dolls and watch Sesame Street. She hopes to one day live with her mom again.
Madison is often the quiet one in the room, observing rather than joining the conversation. While she has a wonderful personality, her shyness can sometimes make it difficult for others to see all she has to offer. Madison would love to attend a public speaking class where she can step outside her comfort zone in a fun and supportive environment. Through interactive activities and group exercises, she can practice introducing herself, sharing her thoughts, meeting new people, and speaking with greater confidence. This experience would give Madison the opportunity to come out of her shell and feel more comfortable letting her personality shine.
