Velma, 26 years old, NY

City Living NYVelma is a bright young adult who aged out of foster care and initially ended up living in a shelter. However, she has finally secured her own apartment and is thrilled to have her own space. Velma is a talented cook and enjoys working in the culinary field. She dreams of advancing her career in the culinary industry and hopes to open her own business one day.
Velma is a former foster child who is striving for success. She is starting a new career path with the parks department and is excited for this new journey. Because Velma will spend a lot of time outdoors in this new role, she needs an insulated water bottle to keep her drinks at the right temperature in any weather. Unfortunately, as she is just beginning this journey, Velma is struggling to afford everything she needs for her new role. Providing a water bottle for Velma will give her one less thing to worry about as she settles into this new position.
