Devon and her sister entered foster care together in January 2026, carrying the weight of significant trauma from ongoing abuse and neglect, including a period when Devon had to fend for herself, both on the streets and in a home without heat or electricity through the winter. Despite everything she's endured, Devon has shown remarkable resilience. She's thriving in her current foster home, dreaming of being adopted permanently one day, and has found real joy on a competitive dance team, where she loves performing and expressing herself through movement.

As Devin's 13th birthday approaches this October, she really is hoping to go shopping for herself. She's a self-described girly girl through and through, but she didn't get to enjoy shopping trips while living with her father. A Primark gift card would let Devin celebrate this milestone birthday the way she's always wanted to, picking out her own clothes and feeling that same sense of safety and support she's found in her current placement.
