Tool shopping at Lowe's for Jaime who doesn't want basic equipment to stand between him and a new job
Jaime, 20 years old, NC |
NEEDED BY 10/30
Wish submitted by:
Foster Parent Association of WilkesJaime spent several years in foster care as a young child along with his large sibling group. He says those years often feel like a blur to him, with both good and bad times. He remembers being moved, being separated from his brothers, and being confused about his birth parents. He’s finding his own path now and realizes having a support system makes life a little easier. Becoming an independent adult has been a huge transition, and he’s still working hard.
Jaime recently had to change careers, and now he's stepping into a new construction job with a real, immediate hurdle. Jamie needs his own tools before he can even begin this new job. Without them, taking this job simply isn't possible. A trip to Lowe's would let Jaime pick out the tools he needs to meet that requirement, giving him the chance to start earning income and build stability in this new chapter, rather than losing the opportunity over something as basic as equipment he doesn't yet have.
