Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationHezekiah is a sweet boy in foster care with his older brother. He loves to pet the family dogs and giggles endlessly when his big brother dances for him. Despite facing developmental delays, Hezekiah works hard in physical and occupational therapy to build his strength and skills so he can catch up with his peers. His determination and bright spirit shine through in everything he does.
A crash pad would give Hezekiah a safe and comfortable place to explore his love of climbing, rolling, and movement. Since he enjoys climbing on the couch and testing what his body can do, a soft place to land would let him stay active while reducing the risk of bumps and falls. It would also give him a great outlet for the movement and sensory input he enjoys in a safe, controlled space. Because Hezekiah tires easily, the crash pad could also become his own cozy spot to rest, relax, and recharge when he needs a break. A space where he can move, explore, and then curl up and decompress would support both his physical needs and his ability to self-regulate.
