Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption AssociationTasha is a bright and determined young woman who finished high school at 17. With a love for science and math, Tasha thrives in fast-paced situations where she can think quickly and solve problems. She dreams of becoming an ER nurse, where she can combine her strengths with her passion for caring for others during some of their most difficult moments. Tasha has experienced tremendous loss after losing both of her parents and being separated from her siblings. These changes have made it difficult for her at times to feel like she truly has a place to call home. She is living in a group foster home as she prepares to age out of foster care and begin building a life of her own. Despite everything she has faced, Tasha continues to look toward her future with determination.
As Tasha steps into college and a brand-new chapter, she hopes for a pair of AirPods to carry her through it. Between studying, online classes, and the walk across campus between them, she'd lean on them constantly, and they'd help her unwind after long days, too. Tasha is aging out of foster care while chasing her dream of becoming an ER nurse, and a gift like this would be both genuinely useful and just for her as she builds this next part of her life on her own.
