Mary is a young mother who came to this country and entered foster care at the age of 16. Her son still lives in her native country, and she misses him dearly. They regularly FaceTime, allowing her to stay connected with him. Currently, she is part of the extended foster care program and is actively learning the English language. Mary remains hopeful that she will reunite with her son one day, and she aspires to become a surgeon in the future.

Mary would love the opportunity to attend her school’s Homecoming Dance on October 24th. She has never been to a school dance before and is incredibly excited to experience this special night with her friends. Mary has already picked out the perfect red midi dress and is looking forward to getting dressed up, doing her hair and makeup, and feeling beautiful and confident for the evening. Providing her with this dress would help make her very first school dance a memorable experience and give her the chance to enjoy a fun, meaningful milestone alongside her peers.
