Jacob grew up experiencing significant emotional and physical abuse and has faced repeated instability throughout his adult life. Three different times, he has had to completely start over with little to nothing, yet he has continued working tirelessly to rebuild and provide a stable life for his son. As a single father, Jacob has carried the responsibility of supporting and caring for his son largely on his own. Since the passing of his mother, who was his main source of support, that responsibility has become even heavier. Despite everything he has endured, Jacob remains devoted to his son and focused on creating the security and stability for him that Jacob did not always have growing up.

This Christmas is especially difficult for Jacob as he grieves the recent loss of his father. Even through his own heartbreak, he is determined to make the holiday special for his son. Having experienced challenges that took away parts of his own childhood, Jacob wants to create a different experience for his little boy, filled with joy, wonder, and love. He dreams of putting on a Santa costume and watching his son's face light up with excitement, knowing he is the one creating that magical moment. For Jacob, the costume represents more than dressing up for Christmas; it is a chance to build happy memories with his son and give him the kind of childhood moments every child deserves. Although Jacob cannot change his past or bring back the loved ones he has lost, he hopes to make Christmas magical for his son and create a memory they can cherish together.
