Jacob grew up experiencing significant emotional and physical abuse and has faced repeated instability throughout his adult life. Three different times, he has had to completely start over with little to nothing, yet he has continued working tirelessly to rebuild and provide a stable life for his son. As a single father, Jacob has carried the responsibility of supporting and caring for his son largely on his own. Since the passing of his mother, who was his main source of support, that responsibility has become even heavier. Despite everything he has endured, Jacob remains devoted to his son and focused on creating the security and stability for him that Jacob did not always have growing up.

Jacob has faced more hardship than most people should ever have to. After a childhood filled with abuse and years of having to rebuild his life, he has learned to make do with very little. Although people love and support him, the challenges he has faced have been hard. A warm, durable Carhartt jacket would give him something dependable to wear through the cold winter months.
