Cayden has been in YFS custody since January 2025 and has been embracing new experiences and opportunities. He is an avid reader who spent the past summer trying new activities, including sleepaway camp, swimming, baseball, and exploring new places with his foster parents. He has made friends in his neighborhood and is now well settled in school. Cayden also loves the dogs in his foster home and enjoys getting to know the chickens and collecting their eggs! After previously taking on the responsibility of caring for his younger siblings, Cayden is beginning to enjoy simply being a kid, making time to play, relax, and let his guard down. He is a thoughtful planner with big dreams for his future, hoping to become a meteorologist. He has even started thinking ahead about college and finances, sharing that he wants to attend community college to avoid starting his adult life with student debt.

Cayden is excited about the opportunity to experience the fun of riding an electric scooter, something he missed out on when he was younger. Now that he is settled into his foster home and has made friends in his neighborhood, he would love a scooter that he can ride with them after school and on weekends. With a nearby parking lot providing space to ride, this gift would give Cayden the chance to enjoy new experiences, build independence, and make lasting memories with his friends. Cayden has also demonstrated responsibility by consistently wearing a helmet while riding his bike, and the scooter's stability features and limited speed make it a thoughtful choice for him. This Christmas, an electric scooter would give Cayden the chance to enjoy the carefree fun of being a kid!
