Kindred Spirit Behavioral HealthKeith is an energetic and adventurous young boy who finds joy in the outdoors. Whether he is exploring nature, playing outside, or staying active, he thrives when he has the opportunity to move, discover, and experience the world around him. His curiosity, resilience, and positive attitude make him a joy to be around. Keith currently lives with relatives due to his mother's ongoing struggle with substance abuse. While his relatives have provided him with a safe and supportive home, Keith continues to experience feelings of hurt and rejection related to his mother's absence and inability to consistently be a part of his life. These emotions can be difficult for a child to process, yet Keith continues to demonstrate remarkable strength and perseverance. Despite the challenges he has faced, Keith remains kind-hearted, respectful, and eager to learn. He works hard to maintain a positive outlook and benefits greatly from opportunities that allow him to simply enjoy being a child.
Keith has his heart set on a zombie football player costume this Halloween. It includes a shredded jersey, a gory undershirt, football pants, and a bloodstained helmet headpiece- everything he needs to become the scariest player on the field. He loves the thrill of the holiday, and transforming into a creepy character would let him show off his imagination and join in the fun with other kids. Dressing up means he can join every Halloween activity without feeling left out. It would also take one less expense off his family’s shoulders and give Keith something exciting to look forward to as the night gets closer.
