Ebony proudly served her country in the United States Army for over eight years. She is an intelligent, caring, and compassionate person who enjoys cooking for her friends and family. One of Ebony’s greatest strengths is her willingness to help others, especially those who are in need. Her dedication to serving others continues to be an important part of who she is.

Ebony experienced an unfortunate apartment fire last month and lost all of her belongings. She is working to rebuild her life and regain a sense of normalcy. Currently, she doesn't have pots and pans to prepare meals and has been placing meat directly on the oven rack, which can create a safety hazard. A new set of pots and pans would let Ebony prepare and enjoy her favorite meals safely while taking another important step toward rebuilding her home and restoring her independence.
