The National Youth Advocate ProgramKamari is a sweet, curious little boy who recently celebrated his first birthday. After entering foster care due to parental substance use, Kamari faced early medical and developmental challenges after being born with substances in his system. During his first several months, he attended frequent NICU follow-up appointments and participated in physical therapy to support his development. Although he experienced some delays in reaching milestones during his first six months, Kamari has made incredible progress and continues to grow and thrive.
Kamari recently graduated from physical therapy and is now right on track with his peers! He has started saying his first words, running around with his foster family’s children, and becoming more curious and independent every day. His playful, energetic personality is shining through, and his love of climbing keeps his foster family on their toes as he explores the world around him. To celebrate his first birthday and all he's accomplished, Kamari would love Tiny Land Soft Foam Climbing Blocks. These age-appropriate blocks would give him a safe place to explore his adventurous side while practicing climbing, balancing, coordination, and gross motor skills. Kamari has come so far in his first year, and these blocks would help him continue learning, growing, and reaching new milestones!
