Shelly has been in foster care since elementary school and is currently in extended foster care, where she has found some stability living with a family member alongside her brother. She is an Environmental Studies major who plans to transfer to Cal Poly Pomona in Fall 2027. Shelly stays active on campus through the Christian Club and Foster Club and enjoys playing tennis, baseball, and football in her free time. She is working toward her educational goals while building a bright future for herself.

Michelle is constantly on the go, and with her after-school activities and time on campus, she wears down her sandals. She is currently not employed, is focused on her studies, and has had a difficult time saving up for small items she would like. Having her own sandals will help with her hyperhidrosis, which makes it difficult to wear regular tennis shoes or enclosed shoes.
