Angel has faced significant challenges from a young age, including foster care, trauma, limited family support, housing instability, and job loss. She continues to stay persistent at community college while working to prioritize her mental health and maintain stability in different areas of her life. With limited biological family support, she relies heavily on providers and other systems of support. Despite these challenges, Angel continues to work toward her educational goals and find positive outlets, including her love of rollerblading.

She currently relies on rollerblading as a primary way to get around, something she also genuinely enjoys, but longer distances can be difficult due to her chronic health conditions. An electric scooter would give Angel a more reliable, manageable way to get to and from school and access new mental health resources she hopes to use.
