She loves swimming, fishing, camping, playing softball, and participating in gymnastics. During quieter moments, Lanee enjoys reading chapter books and getting lost in a good story. Her favorite color is light blue. Lanee has big dreams for her future and hopes to become a doctor when she grows up so she can help care for others.
Lanee was thrilled to try out for the Elite basketball team alongside her sister. After a week of patiently waiting, she got the exciting news that she made the team! She lives with her grandmother, and with her mother currently out of work, the cost of participating has made this opportunity difficult for her family. Lanee dreams of playing the sport she loves, building her confidence, making new friends, and creating lasting memories beside her sister. Covering her participation costs would let her enjoy all her hard work and excitement, with her sister cheering her on and playing right next to her.
