Josiah, 13 years old, MD | 1 DAY WAITING

Wish submitted by:

Josiah is a sports loving boy who is excited to get out and play with friends. Josiah loves to be outdoors, but also loves to play with action figures and superheroes. Josiah is learning to understand emotions and how emotions affect each and every one of us. He is in foster care.

Josiah loves building things, and he always asks why and how things work. A set of five science experiment model kits would give him a hands-on way to find out. He could assemble a Newton’s cradle, a tension structure, a hydraulic excavator, a model of the sun, earth, and moon, and a working telegraph. Each kit turns an idea he is curious about into something he can build, test, and explain for himself. Putting them together one at a time would help him understand how the world works.
