My'Asia, her twin sister, and now their little brother have been in foster care for a time now. Being together and sharing the same things and passions helps them cope with the ups and downs of care. Like her sister, My'Asia is sweet and creative. A little shyer than her twin, My'Asia has an adventurous spirit. She enjoys time with her sister and friends but also enjoys alone time reading and getting lost in a good story. Her favorite type of books? Comic books! Classics, mysteries, superheroes- she likes them all.

My’Asia loves to get lost in a good story, and reading is her greatest passion. She enjoys reading on her own and sharing books with her sister, and her favorite kind of book is a comic. A set of graphic novel adaptations of three classics, The Secret Garden, Anne of Green Gables, and Heidi, would let her enjoy these timeless stories in the comic style she loves most. She could follow each heroine’s adventures through colorful panels, and then pass the books to her sister to read next. A set of books of her own would give her new worlds to escape into and something to talk about with her sister.
