CASA IN - Batholomew CountyEvelyn is a sweet young adult who recently graduated high school. She had finally found a permanent home, when her pre-adoptive dad took his own life. She has been "in the system" since 2009 and been to at least 22 foster homes. Being somewhat developmentally delayed and significantly emotionally delayed, Evelyn struggled to finish high school, but she is beginning to develop enough life skills to start looking for her own apartment.
Evelyn is a junior in high school this year and very much looks forward to attending her junior prom. She was gifted a dress by a local charity, but she still needs to come up with the admittance fee in order to attend. Prom is right around the corner and she is very excited.
