Central Region Youth Advisory Board (YAB)Jackie has been in foster care for a large part of her life. Regardless of her struggles, she always tries to be the best version of herself and reaches for her dreams no matter what. She fearlessly tried out for The Voice (didn't make it but LOVED the experience), became president of her local Youth Advisory Board, and is currently looking for her own apartment. Jackie fights for what is right and for the things she needs. She hopes to be a social worker one day so she can use that same energy to fight for others. She has recently enrolled at her local community college. She has a huge heart and a smile that lights up a room!
Jackie is asking for a gift card to Macy's to help her buy some clothes. She has been moving around a lot recently as she struggles to find a healthy and happy permanent living space. In that time she has left a lot of her clothes and personal items behind. She also is hoping to find a job and would like to use the gift card to buy business casual items for interviews and office environments.
