A Digital Camera for Macie who wants to capture beautiful memories

Macie, 24 years old

Wish submitted by:

CASA IN - Batholomew County

Macie is a thoughtful and resilient young woman who looks for the pleasant and beautiful things in life despite her personal hardships. She's been in foster care for over 3 years. Macie has aspirations of becoming either an EMT or a photographer. She loves reading, photography, and music. She was accepted at Indiana University Fort Wayne and has already had her orientation. She is so excited! She has worked at a local pizza shop for two years now and has saved most of the money she made to help when she ages out of foster care and must begin taking care of herself. Thankfully, her foster mom isn't ready to let her out of her site just yet!

Macie has overcome so much in her sixteen years, but she remains down to earth and has proven herself willing to work hard to accomplish her goals. She has aspirations of going to school to become an EMT or, possibly, a photographer. She loves to take photos to capture the important and every day moments of her life and of those around her. She is especially hopeful of getting a new camera in time for a special vacation with her foster family. This vacation is intended as a celebration of the adoption of one of her foster siblings, and Mary wants more than anything to be able to chronicle that special time!
