Pearl is a sweet young lady. She has been in foster care for 5 years and has lived in over 8 homes. Pearl has had a very hard time adjusting to get life in foster care. She still doesn't understand that she will not be able to return home to love with her parents. Because of this Pearl tends to follow the wrong crowd and act out in hopes that her foster parents will let her go back home. This mentoring program will help Pearl her understand relationships, reduce teen dating violence, promote respect through the understanding of the responsibility that the role brings. Throughout the program, she will work on building her self-esteem and will be connected to a mentor for additional growth. Pearl really needs of role models in her life right now in to be the best she can be.
