Support Center for Child AdvocatesShayna is currently living in foster care and finishing up high school. Right now she visits colleges to give speeches about what it's like growing up in foster care. She can't wait to get to college so she can follow her dream of studying communications and becoming a news anchor. Shayna loves studying and learning and despite her trials and tribulations, has maintained amazing grades.
Shayna is a great student who loves working hard and taking care of her little sister. She is also a foster care activist and gives back her time when she is not in school. Shayna is currently trying to finish up her last semester in high school and has been doing so well that she has received a conditional acceptance to college. Unfortunately last week her laptop that is a necessity for her school work was stolen. Without a laptop, Shayna will not be able to do work while babysitting her sister and we don't want to see her grades slip when she's so close to graduating.
