This summer, The Felix Organization will send up to 25 young women, ages 14-18, from the New York City Foster Care system to the Berkshire Mountains of Connecticut for the experience of a lifetime. These young women reside in a residential facility operated by Good Shepherds Services, one of New York City’s largest child welfare agencies. Because of the instability of life in foster care, these youth are unlikely to have ever been given an opportunity to leave the hot summer streets of their neighborhoods. Felix is providing that opportunity! At Camp Felix, they will engage in exciting and new activities like rock climbing, zip lining, karaoke, and so much more. Please help us gift them a backpack with a water bottle, t-shirt, sunblock, and deodorant that they can use at camp and keep for themselves when camp is over!
