Jersie has never had the opportunity to go to the store and pick out her own therapy tools. Being able to go to the store to pick them out and purchase them on her own will give Jersie the independence she needs to help build her confidence back up.
Jersie is 17 years old and lives in NJ
Jersie has been shuffled from home to home, and has not been able to maintain many of her belongings. She has been in more placements then the division can keep track of. A few years ago Jersie was placed with a family that appeared to be a good match, but unfortunately she was removed due to concerns with her siblings. However, a short time ago she was reunited with the family and they have agreed to adopt her and are starting the process. Jersie loves computers, gaming, tablets, arts & crafts, and sports. She is at her calmest state when she is playing a game or drawing. Jersie likes to utilize these outlets as a form of therapy when she is feeling her worst.
