When Marie received the letter about the field trip she was over the moon! However, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment when she saw the price of the trip. She immediately knew that she would not be able to go - but we want to make sure she can! Marie loves school and this class trip to Chicago would give her the chance to visit the aquarium, the Museum of Science and Industry, the planetarium, see a show, and visit Navy Pier. The cost includes everything including the bus trip, hotel room, all meals, and exciting memories! Plus, Marie has never seen a skyscraper before and thinks it would be so cool to be in a city!

Marie is a charming young girl who loves gymnastics. She wants to be an Olympic gymnast when she grows up. She and her older sister have been living with a distant relative for over a year while their parents work on staying sober. She has long hair she likes to wear in two braids, and she is loving 6th grade so far.
