Foster Parent Association of WilkesSamantha has grown into a gracious young lady since entering foster care. Previously, she faced severe neglect and trauma that felt overwhelming. Now, she maintains a positive outlook on life and looks forward to each day. She enjoys being herself and feels comfortable in her own room. Samantha also loves arts and crafts, which allow her to express her creativity and serve as effective coping skills.
Sometimes when Samantha is unable to sleep she is allowed to sit at her desk and read. Unfortunately her current desk lamp is to dim to read at night and she is unable to see her books well. She would love to have a new desk lamp to help her wind down at night while reading a good book.
