Tiana is asking for a tablet this Christmas. In school, she earns time on the classroom tablet and loves being able to look up all things related to science. Tiana would like to be able to do this at home too. Tiana is very smart and motivated for her age and is usually done with her weeks homework by Monday. A tablet would help her be able to continue learning at her own pace throughout the week.
Tiana is 14 years old and lives in NJ
Tiana is a strong willed young lady that has been residing in our program for almost a year. Tiana has been through a lot of ups and downs in her short lifetime, including many moves to different foster homes and a pending reunification. Tiana has developed a tough exterior for such a young child in order to help her cope. Tiana loves to be a leader, and enjoys spending time with her family when she sees them. Tiana's favorite subject in school is science and she wants to one day be a scientist or doctor.
