Dontay'e is a resilient child who has spent the majority of his life in placement. He has overcome many obstacles in his young life and has maintained good grades and a positive attitude throughout it all. The only thing Dontay'e wants for Christmas is a cell phone, even an older model phone, so that he can keep in contact with his friends, play games and have it when he is able to get a job. His mother was saving up money to get his phone but a pipe in their home just burst and ruined all of Dontay'e's clothes so she had to buy him all new clothes and spent the money. Dontay'e is very understanding and did not mention the phone again; however his caseworker knows it would mean the world to him.
