Lidia just accepted a job as a Peer Advocate for the Children's Law Center and she could not be more thrilled! She is working alongside some of the same people who helped her so much when she was in foster care, so she feels great pride to be able to help others in return. She is wishing for new professional clothes so she can feel comfortable and prepared for her first day.
Lidia is 33 years old and lives in CA
As a former foster youth herself, Lidia has now become an advocate for foster youth and former foster youth. As a Case Manager she works day in and day out to create a better world for those who are in the foster care system. She will absolutely change the world. She has overcome obstacles that make her accomplishments even more incredible. A quote from Lidia herself " I enjoy reminding others who have been through similar circumstances that the key to living a righteous, fulfilling life is a good education and the knowledge that you are worthy of love and assistance."
