A trip to Forever 21 for Maria who loves to help build up other women

Maria is such a remarkable young woman and is very involved in the female empowerment class she started at school. She has mentioned to her CASA that she wishes she had clothing so that she would feel even better about herself and show other young ladies how to dress appropriately. She worries about young woman her age because she said she was almost a victim of a sex trafficker and she wants to ensure others are safe from harm. Maria says that she is in such a better place now that she is away from her parents' drug problems and can't believe that she was almost sold for drugs. She credits her inner strength and the foster care system for saving her from a life that would have been horrible.
Maria is 22 years old and lives in CA
Maria was struggling in school but now that she is in her new placement she is thriving and doing exceptionally well in school. In fact, Maria is earning straight A's and recently started a female empowerment class at her school. She is also an intern with Mental Health America which she absolutely loves because she is helping others. Maria is truly a remarkable young woman and everyone is so proud of the young woman she has become.
