Vanessa is a young adult living with a family, after being removed from her home several years ago. She was separated from her siblings and has minimal contact with them. When asked what makes her special, Vanessa told us “I am a very passionate person. I love to make others lives better, it helps me validate myself. I love learning new things, learning how to do new things better. “ Vanessa’s interests include playing video games and exploring nature. Her favorite subject at Community College is the College to Success seminar. In addition to attending community college, she is also recently employed.

Vanessa attends community college, and she has also recently gotten a job. She has a bicycle, however, her job and home are several miles apart. She would like an electric bike, but they are very expensive. She found a kit that she can use to modify her current bicycle, which is half the price of a new electric bike. She has been relying on rideshares however they are expensive. She is not able to rely on public transportation due to the limited schedules
