Yvette will be moving into her first college apartment. She has completed her first year at the school. She is very excited to become more independent. This is a major milestone for herself; she would be very grateful to receive this wish.
Yvette is 23 years old and lives in CA
Yvette is a freshman at university. In high school she was very involved in marching band and competed at a very high level at many regional and state tournaments. With Yvette and her sister (both foster youth) attending four-year universities they are beating many odds as foster youth pursuing college degrees. It is still too early to tell what Yvette wants to do after graduation, but she is very hardworking and has many interests (i.e. art, science, music) whatever she does we are sure she will be successful.
