Send Robert to camp to spend time with his brother and sister

Posted Jun 10, 2019
Robert is the oldest of 3 siblings and they have been in and out of foster care for 8 years. They don't all live together and don't get to see each other that often. They love to attend Camp to Belong MA, a camp specifically for siblings separated by foster care placements. The camp is the only time of the year that all three spend an entire week trying new activities and participating in family repair programming. They LOVE everything about camp, the silly camp songs, camp fires, but most of all, just sharing meals with their family!

Robert is 20 years old and lives in MA

Robert is a growing young teenager who loves Tae Kwon Do, playing sports and playing with his brother and sister. He and his siblings have been in and out of Massachusetts DCF foster care for almost eight years. Currently Robert and his brother are being cared for by a family member, but their younger sister lives with another relative and they don't get to see one another very frequently. Robert is very protective of his younger siblings. As a group, they have attended Camp to Belong MA together for a week and it is their favorite time of the year Robert loves not only having fun with siblings at camp but he likes being at a camp with other children in the same situation. When he returns from camp he talks about going the next year to see old and new friends, this is a very exciting time for the kids.
