New Shoes for Anthony's to wear all school year

Anthony found love of life and basketball through the help of his foster parents. Basketball has helped him become more confident and outgoing. He hardly spoke to people before coming to us and within a couple months, he began to tell stories and laughing again. Anthony is excited about school starting and would like a new pair of Jordan's, but knows it would be too much to ask for from his foster parents. We believe it would be a great gift for Anthony before school starts to show him how proud we are of him and his progress.
Anthony is 15 years old and lives in CA
Anthony is a charming young man, but has not always been extremely outgoing. When he came to us a year ago, he was shy, introverted, and kept to himself most of the time. He did not like to have any attention put on him in any way. The only way his foster parents got him out of the house was when they went on Saturday's to play basketball at a park close by. Once Anthony came out of his shell, we noticed how charming and kind he was. He always looks out for his younger foster siblings and is willing to help his foster parents with anything they need. Anthony will be entering 5th grade in a couple weeks and is excited to meet new friends and learn about science.
