A Halloween Costume for a Foster Child

Holidays are an especially hard time for children in shelters, being away from their families is hard on an average day. We try to go above and beyond for the children we house for every holiday. Every child knows exactly what they want to be for Halloween, probably by September 1st of the previous year and we want to help them be exactly what they want and enjoy the holiday to the fullest!
K'Star is 5 years old and lives in TX
Foster kids are kids, period. And they just want to have the same freedom and joy as their peers. Each year thousands of kids enter foster care in our state, separated from their friends, families, neighborhoods and most of what is familiar to them. It can be difficult, but One Simple Wish strives to make the transition a little easier so kids can enjoy childhood and make happy memories!
