A Memorable Trip to Disney for Mikey to enjoy with his new family

Mikey has been invited to accompany his new family to Walt Disney World in May. He has never been to Florida or on a plane and is so looking forward to this dream vacation. The family is committed to including Mikey and could use some assistance with the cost of his park passes and meals. Mikey is so excited to be included on this phenomenal adventure with his new family and thinks this is going to be an amazing way to bond with them!
Mikey is 19 years old and lives in NJ
Mikey, adopted as a baby, was returned to state custody when his grandmother was unable to care for him. He has Type 1 Diabetes and tried to manage his medical needs on his own while also caring for his grandmother. He is an "old soul," self-reliant and easy going. He likes to play basketball and watch Marvel movies. Mikey has been residing in a group home and hopes to move in with a friend's family within the next month. He has had a few extended visits in the family's home, stays in close phone contact and very much wants to be part of a family with a mom, a dad, brothers and a sister. This family is committed to providing Mikey with a safe and stable home and ensure he has stability, unconditional love and permanency.
