Lindsey Stirling Tickets for Kim who loved playing the Violin

Posted Mar 3, 2020
Growing up, Kim played the violin for 4 years. It was the one constant in her life that never changed. She may have changed schools, homes, friends, but she always had the violin. Kim’s love of music kept her from getting involved with the wrong crowd. She spent hours practicing and perfecting what she played. Canon in D by Pachlabel was her absolute favorite. When she moved to a small town, she was no longer able to play her violin because the school did not offer orchestra. So, Kim began playing the flute, and while it was not the violin, she still very much enjoyed playing. A few years ago, Lindsey Stirling inspired Kim to pick up the violin again. Although she is nowhere near the level she was when she was younger, there is still a connection between her beautiful instrument and herself that brings comfort and peace each time she picks it up. It is because of Lindsey that Kim has that again. Seeing Lindsey in concert would be an amazing experience, that Kim will be forever grateful for!

Kim is 46 years old and lives in CO

At the age of 14, Kim went into foster care after being failed by the system over and over again. She aged out at 17 with no support system in place. After 12 years of struggling, pushing hard, and never quitting, she was the first in her family to graduate college. Kim now serves others who were in foster care, providing a community where they feel they belong and know they aren't forgotten. She has been married for 14 years, is a mother to three amazing children, and is in awe of the love she has found.
