A Comforter Set for Kay to personalize her new room

Posted Jun 4, 2020
Kay wishes for a comforter set to personalize her new room. This will help her feel more welcome in her new foster home and have a sense of belonging. Kay enjoys decorating and cleaning things up and can’t wait for her new bedroom look.

Kay is 20 years old and lives in NC

Kay is an outgoing teen who came into care during COVID-19. Her world has been turned upside down and she’s trying hard to adjust. She is a hard worker, makes good grades, and loves sports. She enjoys swimming, volleyball, and track. Her favorite color is teal and she loves to draw. She just got a new kitten and it is really helping her cope. She was not allowed to have pets before coming into foster care. Her appearance is very important to her and she likes to have good hygiene. She loves helping others and interacting helps her feel like she belongs.

"Hi Kay - I hope you love your new comforter set! There's nothing like a brand new comforter to make your room feel pretty and cozy. You're going to get through this and you're going to help lots of other girls like you along the way. Girls can do anything! I encourage you to read in the Bible about how God used a young woman named Esther with no parents and made her a Queen to save her people. Jesus loves you and in His eyes you are a queen too. Kay, you are beautiful and LOVED! Always remember."
