Foster kids are kids, period. And they just want to have the same freedom and joy as their peers. Each year thousands of kids enter foster care in our state, separated from their friends, families, neighborhoods and most of what is familiar to them. It can be difficult, but One Simple Wish strives to make the transition a little easier so kids can enjoy childhood and make happy memories!

Halloween is a beloved holiday by all our kids. What could be better than getting dressed up and getting candy? Nothing, that’s what! They are all so excited. Unfortunately, with the pandemic still strong, our community has cancelled their Halloween event where our kids get to do trunk or treating. We want to make sure they still have fun so we are wishing for candy to make sure each kid can still ‘trick-or-treat’ this year.
