A Season Pass to Carowinds for Christopher
Christopher, 12 years old
Wish submitted by:
Foster Parent Association of WilkesChristopher spent some time in foster care, but he has now been moved to a kinship placement to provide him with a more permanent and stable environment. He is a very active boy who is constantly talking, bouncing around, and playing on the playground. Christopher loves being outside, often running around without his shoes, and he enjoys relaxing by watching cartoons. He does well in school and almost always makes the honor roll.
Christopher wishes for a season pass to Carowinds to help motivate him to work hard and make honor roll at school. Virtual learning has him very frustrated, but he was able to push through and make honor roll this past semester. A fun summer would motivate Christopher to work hard and give him a positive goal to work for the rest of the school year.
Foster Parent Association of Wilkes requests this wish for Christopher.

"Hi Christopher! I know it's been a super tough year, but the New Year is a time for new beginnings. Remember to breathe and be patient with yourself as you push through this next semester. Work hard this semester with your eye on the prize - an awesome summer of fun at Carowinds! And remember, there will be hard times in life, but you'll get through them. The saying 'this too shall pass' is very true! I'm cheering for you, and wishing you all the best in life :-) Erin"

"Erin, Christopher received his season pass yesterday. Thank you so much for caring and making a difference for him. He truly is a hard little worker at school and tries to stay on top of his work. Your gift is such a motivator and reward. His eyes were big and bright as he left. Your gift is sincerely appreciated. "
