Cary aged out of foster care after graduating high school, and has been making it on her own ever since. She had multiple placements in foster care, but her last foster family was very caring and loved her like she was their own child. Fortunately, she is still in touch with them and they are a positive support system in her life. Cary is a devoted mom to her autistic son.

Cary's three year old son works so hard at his multiple therapy appointments, learning new skills and helpful ways for him to manage his emotions when he is upset. Cary would love to purchase some appropriate sensory toys for him to have at home, where she can work with him on the strategies his therapists recommend. He also is growing by leaps and bounds, and could use some new clothes that allow him to move around with ease and comfort. Cary adores her son, and seeing him happy is all she wants in this world.
