Healthy groceries and essential items for Jim who is focused on his education goals

Posted Feb 18, 2021
Jim has overcome homelessness, and is attending his second semester of community college, all while maintaining employment. Unfortunately, this semester he had to decrease his hours to ensure he has time to focus on his classes. Jim thrives on being independent and doesn't like to ask for assistance. However, this month Jim found it difficult to purchase his groceries and essential items. Jim's caseworker reminded him that she is so proud of him for focusing on his education so he can reach his career goal of working in the medical field, and sometimes there will be points in our lives that we all need a little assistance. Granting this wish for groceries, laundry detergent, and personal care items will really help Jim as he moves forward with his education.
