A Birthday Trip to Target for Makayla who is turning 12!

Makayla recently entered care with very little of her own belongings. She had to leave so much behind but she is doing her best to stay positive. It can be tough at times, especially with a birthday coming up in a few days. Makayla isn't expecting any gifts or any celebration so a trip to Target to pick out some new clothes and toys would mean so much to her. She would love to pick out a new basketball and a few new outfits that she can wear when she is shooting hoops.
Makayla is 15 years old and lives in NC
Makayla is a bright young lady who loves playing basketball. She has a blast on the court with her friends and she almost never misses a lay-up! She dreams of going pro one day. Makayla has a positive attitude despite her circumstances and radiates with hope. She is an amazing role model for her siblings.
